State Record Walleye
The Backwaters of Tippy Dam still
holds the State Record Walleye to this day, on January 1st, 1951, right
here in front of Loomis Landing at the mouth of the Pine River, Ray Fadely
caught the record walleye, tipping the scales at 17lbs 3oz. (17.19 lb),
35 inches, in Manistee County.
